Fund Raising

As one can imagine, the cost of both hosting and attending the annual Easter Tournament can be considerable. Each year our budget is £6000 - £7,000.

The costs of participation rise each year. It is understandably harder to raise funds in the current economic situation, and we are not helped by the fall of sterling against the Euro, especially as we will incur additional travel and accommodation costs.

That said, the Colts themselves raise a significant amount of money which helps to cover the overall cost. To make progress with their fund raising activities, they have organised parties and raffles, and activities will continue right up until the beginning of April, so please look out for quiz nights, raffles, parties, sponsored bike rides and even having your bags packed at the supermarket!

Register of Friends of Maidenhead Hockey Club Colts International Easter Tournament 2009
The Register of Friends is aimed at those who have enjoyed and hopefully benefitted from past tournaments as well as the friends and families of those players who will shortly be participating for the first time.

If you, or anyone you know who has had previous involvement with the Easter Tournament would like to be associated with this year’s event, they will of course be very welcome. You may join the Register by making a small donation and sending it or handing it to:
