Magicians suffer setback to league ambitions
Travelling to south east London with a respectable 13 man squad, Maidenhead Magicians failed to take the honours in a rather dour and scrappy late afternoon game.The game started with the Magicians attacking the HAC defence but early chances were lacking a finishing touch. Soon after, HAC got into their stride winning a couple of penalty corners one of which was converted, but quickly disallowed due to an infringement by the home side.

Titans out class Magicians On any other day the Magicians would have left the pitch with a win and three points but today was not their day. In the first half, league top scorer James Raphael was put through 3 times on goal only to be either slightly off target or cancelled out by the goal keeper. Any other day would have been three goals and job done. On top of which Gordon-Smith and Hirst both had strikes on goal and clear cut chances either blocked or just wide.
