Are you a supporter or spectator and want to be more involved? Join the umpiring course on 6th November and get involved in the game and club.

With the start of the 2016/17 season we are looking for volunteers across the club who would like to challenge themselves by trying their hand at umpiring.

There is a Level 1 Umpiring course at Wycombe on Sunday 6th November.
Time - 9am - 4:40pm
Venue - Cressex AstroTurf pitch, Holmer Farm Way, High Wycombe, Bucks HP12 4QA
Booking Deadline - Wednesday 26th October
All you need to do to book the course is follow this link and click on 'Book Online Now' before Wednesday 26th October.

The course costs £50, which the club will help cover, and consists of the following modules:

  1. Pre course online Rules test
  2. The Game from the players’ perspective
  3. The role of the umpire
  4. Umpiring set plays
  5. Player management
  6. Preparation and planning the next steps

This is an issue that affects the whole club so why not give it a go?

Not sure if umpiring is for you? Below is a link to England Hockey's rules section for anyone to sign up and review the rules and take a quiz. On completion, you will receive a certificate which shows that you have demonstrated awareness of the Rules of Hockey.
