Magicians vs South Berkshire 4

The Magicians were facing top of the league South Berkshire on a chilly Saturday morning. Spirits were high as Tim gave a good team talk on what we should do and more importantly not do. The Magicians started well for a change and were giving the opposition a good game until 15 minutes in when they scored from some open play. This unfortunately set the scene for much of the first half but the Magicians were always pressing and hassling South Berkshire and did cause a few mistakes as a result. Halftime saw the Magicians 5-0 down.

The second half started well again and the team tried not to make the game easy for the opposition but unfortunately they were quicker to the 50/50 ball and were making crisper and more accurate passes. The Magicians didn't give up though which was really good to see and pressured South Berkshire until the final whistle. A better second half for the Magicians but the game ended 9-0.
