Maidenhead Magicians entered the 2015/16 season with high hopes of achieving promotion as we had the players and a dedicated coach to make it happen! The first game of any season is the one that sets the tone, which if we bought into that, then we were in trouble with our opening game recorded as a 2-0 loss...

That first game put us third from bottom and we were determined not to let that loss be the thread that unraveled our plans of promotion. The Magicians needed a new strategy and thanks in part to a friendly played against our Ladies 1st XI, we found that special something! Four matches later and we were at the top of the table and that's where we stayed for the remained of season.

Magicians set out with one goal at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, get promoted and as we entered the second half of the season, we shifted focus and went after the title of League Champions. Suffice to say we achieved both, promotion into Division 6 and Division 7 League Champs!

Our stats for the season: Played 22 - Won 17 - Drew 1 - Lost 4, results achieved by having a team dedicated to the task, committed to the team and a great sense of esprit de corps!
