Ladies 1's' vs Salisbury 1

Maidenhead were not able to compete with the same high standards as they had displayed the previous day. Despite Sarah intercepting a 16 yard hit and almost scoring, and Yana’s numerous shots on goal, we were not able to get any shots past the goalkeeper.

In the second half, the post denied Chants of what would have been a goal-of-the-season contender. Maidenhead’s bad luck ensued, with the team picking up a number of cards.

Salisbury scored in both halves, resulting in a 2-0 defeat for Maidenhead. Whilst the scores may not reflect our effort levels, there are positives to be taken from the weekend.

We face local rivals Marlow away at 2:45 this Saturday. Our previous encounter with Marlow was arguably our best performance of the season, so any support would be greatly appreciated!
