Ladies 4's vs Slough 3's

Another Saturday, and another win for the L4s dream team with a 4-0 victory over slough 3s. Yet despite the final score, it could have been 20-0 to maids as the whole team kept the chances coming and slough’s defence v busy in the D. Fortunately shots from captain Ruth, Chloe, Hollie and Olivia beat the keeper and found the back of the net or ‘onion bag’ as the captain likes to call it!

Some great up front play from wingers Lil and Tegs, lovely skills and movement from Hannah and super one touch link up play from the midfield (Georgie, fran, Lucy) kept slough on their toes. Our defensive lineup in the form of Shae, Anna and Izzy kept any Slough forward line at bay, with Courtney and her clinical saves keeping another clean sheet at the final whistle.

Hotly contested MOM was finally awarded to Hollie but it was a game to be proud of and a real team effort across the pitch.

Huge thanks to Gill for running the bench once again and to coach Bex for putting up with us all at training. You see we do listen to you and we are learning….slowly!

A tough draw next Saturday against Thatcham and Newbury - bring it on!
