MHC Ladies 4's vs Wycombe 4's

A great 1-0 victory over Wycombe 4s with some brilliant out-letting by the whole team. Maids had a great start to the match with two early shorts and the only goal of the match was scored by Ruth from rebound after our second short corner in the first 5 minutes.

Maids didn’t get any more short corners after that but still had some opportunities in the Wycombe D but the Wycombe defence was strong. In the second half the Maids defended two shorts well and Wycombe threw everything at us including a few at head height. However Maids continued to retain possession of the ball well with some great out-letting up and down the pitch and some more opportunities in the Wycombe’s D but again their defence was strong.

A great team effort with everyone working really well to provide options for the player on the ball!
