Ladies 5's vs Amersham & Chalfont 7

A&C won the coin toss and chose to have first push back. But we were focused from the off and quickly intercepted the ball and started working our way to the D. Much of the first half of the game was spent in the oppositions half with us pushing hard up to the D. We scored two goals in quick succession both by Kacey.

As we neared the end of the half we were all feeling tired and were glad when the half time whistle went, giving us a breather. At half time we spoke about using the width and everyone getting back behind the ball when we were defending.

It was our ball to start the half and although we started strong A&C intercepted the ball and drove down to our D, we left a few of their players open and unfortunately they had a shot of goal, that Kiera might have accidentally helped in! Bringing the score to 2-1.

This woke us up again and we worked hard together to get the ball into the D. We had several attempts on goal and several long corners. The opposition also had many 16’s but we set the press every time and managed to intercept the hit outs to keep the ball in our control and move up into the D. Our hard work payed off and we had two more goals both scored by LA! This meant when the final whistle went we had a score of 4-1.
