Ladies 5's vs Yateley 4's

Our second game of the weekend was a cold and damp one away at Yateley.

We knew it was to be a tough one and from the start we had to work hard to intercept balls and move up to the D. We managed to get a short corner and with Kacey pushing in, Hannah striking, the ball was touch by a few more people before Kacey made sure it crossed the line. Bringing us to 1-0.

We continued to work hard for the rest of the half and had a few more short but didn’t manage to get any more balls in.

We chatted at half time about running onto the ball, putting names on balls, and everyone defending!

The second half was much the same as the first with Yateley pushing us hard. But our fantastic defence cleared those balls time and time again. Unfortunately Yateley managed to get one through making the score 1-1.

We had a couple of defensive short corner all cleared by the defensive team.

As the last whistle went we were given an attacking short corner. Kacey once again expertly pushed out but a foul happed and we were awarded another. We fought hard to catch the rebounds off the keeper but didn’t manage to find the back of the net.
