U12G's League - Thame

Well, we had a beautiful afternoon in Thame where the sun was shining brightly.

We were playing our 2nd league competition of the season and today we were up against Wallingford and Oxford Hawks.

Our first match against Wallingford was very evenly matched with some great saves being made at either end of the pitch, us doing well with defensive short corners and the result was a 0-0 draw which was a brilliant result.

The second match was against Oxford Hawks. Our squad had certainly warmed up from their first game and were completely on fire with us making lots of play up the wings and playing so well together. Our GK Edie made some great saves, but our midfield and attackers were determined to get some goals which they did 5 times! Final score 5-0 to us. You could certainly hear the roars from our parent supporters.

Well done to everyone that played today - GK Edie, Amber, Reina, Amy, Francesca, Bonnie, Libby and Meghan. You played completely as a team and I could not be prouder of you all.
