U12 Girls League Tournament

Maidenhead HC were hosting back to back tournaments for the U12 Girls this morning and straight after the TVM the League Tournament began.

Our GK Edie was happy to keep for both tournaments and huge thanks to her for committing her whole morning to hockey and thanks to Mum too.

Our visitors today were South Berks, Henley and Milton Keynes, with both Henley and Milton Keynes finding themselves short of players but that did not matter at all, as we were aware of this and made sure that the games were played in such a way that the Maidenhead girls could help out. We are super proud how they played for the opposition sides with the same passion as they would have done for their own club. Thank you girls you are superstars.

Our Captain today was Megan who was helping the coaching team with the team talks. The Coaches were so pleased with how the girls were playing together as a squad and also their individual performances. There are some very promising signs at the beginning of the season with us winning our last game strongly and playing so well against the squads. They should all be proud of how they played.
