U14 Boys start season well with an away draw

First league fixture of new season against London Wanderers results in a well deserved 1-1 draw.
The team was a blend of u14 and u12 boys travelling to our furthest away fixture in Battersea Park.

Playing a 3 4 3 1 formation allowed our Midfield to play really well passing the ball across Edward, Marc, Ollie and Luke.
Need a bit of work on sixteens but our defence kept the ball out well and Man of the Match Freddie created an increasingly frustrated Wanderers attack, especially when using his own woodwork a few times.

The Maidenhead attack also hit the woodwork with Harry scoring well to make the 1-1 draw.
A good result for us and hopefully we should beat them at home later in the season.
