We would like to formally notify you of the MHC AGM held at 7pm on Monday 11th July. This will once again be online, and voting will also be online the week preceding the AGM event. All those who were MHC members during the 21/22 season will be eligible to vote and will be sent voting instructions when voting commences.

We have decided to keep the AGM and voting online again as this proved a popular way to capture more members' views for the AGM and EGM in 2021.

**POSITIONS TO BE VOTED ON FOR AGM **

At the AGM, we will be looking to elect several roles. For some of the functions, we have candidates, for others, we have not. We would welcome more volunteers to the committee and ask you to consider standing in one of the positions. If there is already a candidate for a role you would like, we would still welcome you to stand.

President – No one standing as of today

Chairman – Gill Towell, currently acting Chairman, will stand for election.

Treasurer – Jonathan Crowther, the incumbent, will stand for re-election.

Secretary – No one standing as of today (legally, this position must be filled)

Welfare Officer – No one is standing as of today (legally, this position must be filled)

Marketing Officer – Helen Todd, incumbent, will stand for re-election.

Should you be interested in any of the positions, the role descriptions can be sent to you for your consideration. Notification of any member wishing to stand in one of the above positions should be sent to me in writing at secretary@maidenheadhc.org.uk by midnight on 1st July 2022.

**POSITIONS TO BE VOTED ON CONCURRENT TO AGM BUT NOT PART OF AGM STRUCTURE **

We have three roles which are voted positions but not part of the AGM structure. These are Head of Colts, Ladies Section Rep and Men's Section Rep**

Voting for these positions will run concurrently with voting for the AGM required functions. Steve Hills is standing for election as the Head of Colts, Ruth Young is standing for election as Ladies section representative, and we are currently seeking a Men's player to act as their Section Rep. Should you wish to also stand for any of these positions, I can also send the role description to you.

Notification of any member wishing to stand as Head of Colts, Ladies or Men's Section Rep should be sent to me in writing at secretary@maidenheadhc.org.uk by midnight on 1st July 2022.

Over the past nine months, MHC has made tremendous progress. We have a new constitution, a very active and engaged Management team, incredible players and captains, a new Director of Hockey, and now we have new lights at Altwood. Furthermore, we will start the new season off the back of the most hockey filled Summer we have ever run. I hope you will consider joining us on 11th July and standing for one of our positions.
