Our U12 Girls played in the Berkshire In2Hockey Competition at Reading Hockey Club.

Playing against 2 x Reading Teams, Slough and Berkshire the girls dug in deep against all the teams, working well as a squad. We had Eleanora as our guest GK from the U10's. Huge thanks to her for stepping forward to support us this afternoon. There were a lot of short corners and she was fearless in them with the assistance of our U12 defenders - Vidhi, Jess, Anna, Lauren D and Eimear.

Our midfield worked hard today and in our game against Slough scored 2 goals to give us a 2-2 draw - with Isla, Katherine and Darcy.

Huge thanks to Mia for supporting the girls and to Isla for stepping forward as Captain.

One of the Umpires spoke to be personally about how impressed he was with how the girls conducted themselves on the pitch in the games he umpired.

Well done all - we know you gave us all you could today.
