Well what a morning our U12 girls had at Slough today. This was our first League tournament and we were very kindly hosted by Slough Hockey Club.

The U12G's had a great tournament. All the coaches were very complimentary of how our team played and even spoke to several of the girls directly to congratulate them on their play. What struck me most was how well they all connected together as a team, fantastic passing, working in triangles, good standard of short corners and even when our GK Eleanora had to leave early, with 2 more games to play, they were not phased.

As I said in our team huggle at the end of the tournament - "You all played AWESOME hockey today and I could not be more proud of each and everyone of you". To Eleanora, who missed our team huggle - "You made some amazing saves today, kept a clean sheet, and watched the play so well. You were awesome too"
