Well done to our U12 Girls who took part this afternoon in the In2Hockey Tournament hosted by Reading Hockey Club.

Our team played 7 games against, Slough (x 2), Reading (x2), Newbury & Thatcham and South Berks. We won 2 of our games out of 7 and the girls showed great spirit and played so well as a team. Each of every player gave a high level performance. I was particularly pleased with their defensive and attacking short corner routines. As a squad there levels of confidence is growing.

Special mention goes to Lyra Collett who today played in goal on behalf of Slough Hockey Club who were a goalkeeper short. Our last game was against Slough 2 and Lyra saved several attempts on goal from the Maidenhead squad. Well done Lyra - superstar!
